Local Restaurants & Places to Eat around West Kensington

Mustard Restaurant

98-100 Shepherds Bush Rd, Shepherd's Bush, London W6 7PD, UK – 020 3019 1175

Thanks to Emily and her team for catering for an excellent birthday party for me. Great food and service and it all went like clockwork. Was a great venue for a group, but also recommended for couples etc.

Enjoyed our meal here. I did find the restaurant slightly under staffed and so it took a while to order and for the food to arrive. When the food arrived it was tasty. It was quite quiet for a Friday night. More tables empty than full. They had a set menu which was £15.95 for 2 courses and £17.95 for 3 courses. Mains carried in price between about £12-22. Small selection of beer and wine by the glass, carafe or bottle. I would return and would recommend it.

Côte Bistro - Kensington

47 Kensington Ct, Kensington, London W8 5DA, UK – 020 7938 4147

Visited for my husband's 30th birthday to have a delicious breakfast to start off our busy day. All opted for the breakfast meal deal which is great value. Eggs were cooked perfectly and the hollandaise sauce was fantastic. Will definitely keep Côte in mind next time we are near one and fancy a nicer breakfast than normal!

We prebooked lunch on a very busy Saturday. The staff coped very well with plenty of smiles and assistance with menu choices. We shared a bottle of house white wine, it was very good. The lunch time special of half roast chicken with sliced potatoes and green beans was very tasty. The lemon sorbet was a light and refreshing dessert. Good value for money and would recommend. Only negative would be very tight on space.

Thai Square

563 Fulham Rd, Fulham, London SW6 1ES, UK – 020 7386 9900

We found this place while looking for a late dinner option. The restaurant was mostly empty and getting ready to set the space for the following day but still the staff was quite nice and not only served us but never pressured us to order or pay even when we were the only ones left in the restaurant. The dumplings were quite tasty! A must and great for sharing. The Thai fried rice took the prize as it was not only flavourful and a great portion, it served as the perfect late night dinner. We asked for some soy sauce to give it an extra salty kick - greatly recommended if you could use a stronger flavour in it.

Assumed as a chain restaurant it wouldnt be that great. Have probably been to another branch in the past and been disappointed. I like Thai food and know the good places in London. This is one of them.
