Launceston Place

1A Launceston Pl, Kensington, London W8 5RL, UK – 020 7937 6912

This restaurant has a very welcoming feel to it. Love the interior and all the staffs are so friendly. Although it’s a fine dinning restaurant, it doesn’t have the snobbish vibe like many other places. We had the tasting menu and we enjoyed every single dish on the menu. Their breads and toasts are amazingly delicious. When we’re so full after the main, they served us a great dessert so the whole dinner ended at high. When I made booking, I let them know that it’s for a birthday celebration and they seated us at a very nice table. At the end, they even brought in a small piece of cake to say happy birthday. All in all, we really like this restaurant and we will definitely be coming back for more!

Really great place now been to twice. Really great food, I suspect this place will have some stars very shortly. Tried tasting menu both times; highlights are just about every dish but you will remember the pork dish, the celeriac and the dessert. Amazing !

89 Sloane Ave, Chelsea, London SW3 3DX, UK – 020 7584 9901

Definitely one of the top 3 best steak meals I've had in London, and probably the top 1 most full I've ever felt in my life. I have no idea how they get their steaks so bug and tasty, especially considering the fair price. All I know is that once I had the first bite I needed to finish it, I was a fool to start with the sides... Anyway, finish it I did, and to my surprise, so did the friend I was with. It would have been blasphemy if we didn't. Bravo Gaucho, delicious and generous.

Warm welcome, jackets taken & walked to our seats. The decor is certainly that of a steak house (you will see if you go) & the general feel of the place was relaxing. Waiter was friendly & helpful. However, the steak was lacking. It was cooked exactly to my order (medium rare) but the texture/quality of the steak was chewy. It was certainly not a premium quality cut & that left me disappointed.

Best place for Indian food. Beautiful dining room, highly trained and qualified staff. Food exquisite. Prices are perfect for the food you get. Highly recommendable.

One of the best Indian restaurants in Kenigston.Their food is the closest to authentic Indian cuisine. It’s always fresh and consistent. The variety is great and all the dishes are great. The service us really quick and yet friendly. Ambiance is decent and you can tell that the owner must be a cricket fan. Good value for money. Best dish would be biryani and the fish.

Chakra Indian Restaurant Kensington

33C Holland St, Kensington, London W8 4LX, UK – 020 7229 2115

Coming from New York City, I have high standards for Indian food, and was worried this place would be subpar. The food did not disappoint, being spicy and flavorful all the items we ordered on the menu were good. It's worth noting that the naans are quite small, and not easily shared. The atmosphere is wonderful, and if it's not too chilly, I recommend sitting outside. All in all, this is a great place and I highly reccomend it.

Nice clean place with good portions of food

Masala Zone Bayswater

75 Bishop's Bridge Rd, London W2 6BG, UK – 020 7221 0055

Myself and my family are patron at this place, truly very few Indian restaurants are brave enough to make good chicken tikka out of chicken thigh which is by far the tastiest part of chicken and this place does it very well, along with amazing lamb chops. The service is good and the restaurant has a great ambience. Could do with a better selection of cocktail though.

Me and my partner ate here a number of times and we where never disappointed. The food is amazing and the staff are kind and friendly but at times it seems like they are nowhere to be found or they forget they had to bring u something

Best Reviewed Italian Pasta and Pizza Restaurants

Verdi Italian Kitchen at the Royal Albert Hall

Royal Albert Hall, Kensington Gore, Kensington, London SW7 2AP, UK – 020 7589 8212

We've been to the Verdi restaurant 3 times over the past few years and have always enjoyed our meals there. On our recent visit we thought the prices had increased quite a bit especially for a glass of wine. Service has always been very friendly and efficient. It's a relaxing place to eat before a concert knowing you are just a few minutes away from your seats.

We went to the Verdi restaurant before a concert- being gluten intolerant I was enticed by the promise of a gluten free pizza base, and I was not disappointed! The pizza was so fantastic you could absolutely not tell that it was gluten free; I’ve tried a fair few gluten free pizzas and this was without a doubt the best. The drinks are incredibly overpriced; the cheapest large glass of wine was £9. My main issue was that the knives are not even nearly sharp enough to cut through the pizza. We’re fairly quick eaters yet it took us almost 45 minutes and lots of effort (and pain) to eat our pizzas, and afterwards I was left with blisters on my hands! I would still say it was worth it as the pizza was so fantastic, but I would seriously recommend replacing the knives with much sharper ones as no one deserves blisters on their hands from simply trying to eat a nice meal!

Jamie's Italian Shepherd's Bush

1078 Ariel Way, White City, London W12 7GB, UK – 020 8090 9070

It’s a great location. Wonderful interior. Very stylish. The waitress was very kind and nice. We got our food very fast. Just 10 minutes. That was amazing. But the drinks came later. The food was great. We’re wondering why a lot of tables around of us were very messy. During our whole stay the tables around us wasn’t cleaned up. And it wasn’t very crowded between our visit from 8:30-9pm. We red about water for free but didn’t get any of this. When we want to pay the bill by credit card the printer wasn’t loaded. The other one couldn’t found fast. After that we had to sign the card receipt, but the waitress didn’t has a pen. In sum: the food and drinks were good. But the mess and chaos all around us reduce our good feeling about this place.

Cookery school was fantastic. I went on a Pasta Master course. The tutor and set up was great. Taught us how to make fresh pasta dough and three sauces, then we had agobar making one. I think the results speak for themselves!

Stuzzico Ristorante

24 Kendal St, London W2 2AW, UK – 020 7262 9122

Delicious food and such a lovely and welcoming vibe. We really enjoyed this Italian gem and was lovely to be able to sit outside for dinner and chat with the other customers!

One of my all-time favorite restaurants in London. The food is excellent and the experience is rare. For example, tonight we had the privilege to listen to a live exceptional singer while we ate dinner. Stuzzico is phenomenal!!!!

Smith's Cocktail Bar

170 Shepherds Bush Rd, Hammersmith, London W6 7PB, UK – 020 7603 2516

Went on the jam night and had a wonderful time. Great drinks and music. Made some new friends while on holiday. Stellar staff. Highly recommend for a fun night out.

My new favorite place. Really great cocktails at a reasonable price. Bar staff def know their stuff and are lovely. I loved it so much that I went for two days in a row. Would definitely re visit if I go back to London Can't give a higher praise for the french maritini and their long island iced tea was definitely one of the bests I've had Should definitely try out if staying near Hammersmith

Portobello Star

171 Portobello Rd, London W11 2DY, UK – 020 7229 8220

Amazing drinks, nice location, affordable prices, A+

Really good drinks and service is good. Last time i went there my phone got nicked... so beware!

316-318 King's Rd, Chelsea, London SW3 5UH, UK – 020 7351 5998

Very good vibe. If you're looking for a fun night out and good Dj it's the place for you! Nice selection of awesome drinks and plenty of good food. It can get crowded easily, but that's not an obstacle if you enjoy this kind of places. Book a table in advance or get there very early. Highly recommended place! If you want to get discounts and look inside the club before you go, we have an app which helps with that: bit.ly/Nightset_App

A great cocktail bar nestled in Chelsea. Had our graduation party (sort of) in a dedicated underground room, and both the staff and security were very friendly. I don't understand the negative reviews. Maybe control your alcohol intake? Nonetheless, I recommend this venue for both group bookings and single visits. I do wish that the music wasn't truly pop/electropop/rap remixes though. The wonders of rock/house would do justice to the venue. Debatable. Highly recommend.

Hammersmith Chinese Restaurants

Royal China Fulham

805 Fulham Rd, Fulham, London SW6 5HE, UK – 020 7731 0081

Food is pretty good, but I was pretty shocked by two things: £7 for a small beer, but more shockingly they automatically add a tip to the bill by default and then they also invite you to add a tip when you pay. Often I don’t really check the bill before paying and my guess is that this is what they are banking on. Literally. Really dirty tactic. Be careful.

Amazing service, had a really delicious meal. The steam sea bass was the best I’ve had, very fresh and flavoursome. Loved it!!

Pearl Liang

8 Sheldon Square, London W2 6EZ, UK – 020 7289 7000

You can never go wrong with the Chinese food here. Must try the lobster noodles. Service and environment are great. Only we felt it needs a bit more light especially in the far end of the restaurant. The mobile phone reception is also an issue at the far end if the restaurant. Signal was really bad. Maybe it is intended to let you really enjoy the food. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Overall the experience here had been great.

Been there a good few times, love the food. But was not very impressed with their customer service. BUT today 15/06/2018 we've had the Best Customer Service CHARLINE assistance was very good, she was very cheerful and advised us on the food.. This place need more cheerful and helpful staffs.

Shikumen Shepherd's Bush

Dorsett Hotel, 58 Shepherd's Bush Green, Shepherd's Bush, London W12 8QE, UK – 020 8749 9978

Really good quality yummy food. Attentive service. Had a great time there and will be back.

Absolutely amazing food. Ordered the set menu B which was definitely worth £30 per person, so much food. Also ordered Singapore noodles (seafood) to share with a friend and they were delicious. £4.20 for a large bottle of sparkling water which I thought was good for London. Bellini's were delicious and £9.50. You can book a table for a large group but you have to pay a hefty deposit which comes off food. My friend paid £170 for a table for 10-12 I believe. Staff were patient with us whilst we took a while to order but some confusion on the kitchen which delayed our order.

Hammersmith Vegetarian or Vegan Restaurants

The Gate Hammersmith

51A, Queen Caroline St, Hammersmith, London W6 9QL, UK – 020 7833 0401

Updated as of May 2018 The food tastes amazing especially being entirely vegetarian it still hits the spot, the food they offer is seasonal so if you come at different times of the year you'll get a different menu which I think is a great idea. As well as the food being great the staff are friendly and polite. The service of the food could improve as it does take a little long to come out however you won't be disappointed with the food. It is located on the side of the Hammersmith Apollo, so you may need try and find it. I highly recommend The Gate. The service has definitely improved the food comes out a lot quicker but I do think that's also to do with the fact you have to vacate your table within 2 hours however. The food is still perfection.

The service on both occasions was warm and friendly. The food was interesting and delicious. There is variety in each of the courses and menus and something for palate. The location is very convenient to get to but beautifully hidden away from the hustle and bustle of Hammersmith. I will definitely go back.

Redemption Bar

6 Chepstow Rd, London W2 5BH, UK – 020 7313 9041

Chilled atmosphere, very tasty vegan food. The staff is friendly and the location is very convenient for people looking for a nice restaurant near Westbourne grove. I went for dinner and got the pulled jackfruit burger that tasted almost like real pulled pork. Desserts are really good! I had the lime vegan cheesecake. So good! Nice outdoor area.

The whole experience was amazing. The restaurant is beautifully decorated with fairy lights on the window and a great seeing plan. The chairs are really lovely and comfortable and each table has an amazing light candle. The food was magnificent, I had a jackfruit curry with black rice and great cauliflower slaw. I also had some sweet potatoes that were so big they were almost a meal of themselves. The staff were extremely friendly, helpful and accommodating. I will definitely be coming back and will be telling people about it.

Guste REMO

43/45 Porchester Road, London W2 5DP, UK – 020 7221 5943

An absolutely delicious lunch - possibly the best pasta & mushrooms that I have eaten. I would give six stars if possible - this is because my dog Boo was also allowed in🐶👍 He was given a bowl of water & the staff were lovely & really good with him. You should advertise this & make a lot of money - other restaurants should take note.... I’m not sure if it’s on your website..?? So many Londoners like to take their dogs everywhere, you would get more clients with dogs. My friend, Boo & I all had a great lunch & will be back. Keri, Kay & Boo

Absolutely delicious!! We had a blast. The service was good, the waiters incredibly nice and the food excellent, it's my new favourite Italian restaurant!! One small comment, deserts were ok, but not the same standard than the rest of the dishes.

Hoop & Toy

34 Thurloe Pl, Kensington, London SW7 2HQ, UK – 020 7589 8360

Typical British pub. There is a well stocked bar on the ground floor and the first floor which is exclusively restaurant (you can still order food downstairs but the tables there are smaller). The menu is quite small but you get all the basics: bangs & mash, meat pie, fish & chips, burgers, steak etc. There is soup of the day and one vegetarian option. There is table service upstairs - the service is lovely. My waitress was very fast and polite. I ordered fish and chips, side salad and tap water which she topped up whenever my glass was empty - rare but super appreciated! Fish and chips' portion is quite substantial. The fish was really greasy though and I was glad I ordered that salad. In overall, very nice food, freshly made and typically British. If you want to tip you can only do so in cash - card payment hasn't got that option, unfortunately. Will definitely visit again!

Great pub! Very traditional and cosy. Staff are friendly but every now and then you get some who are not as friendly! Could do with a bit of tidying up but over all great pub! Good drinks and food

The Central Bar

1, West 12 Shopping Centre, Shepherd's Bush Green, Hammersmith, London W12 8PH, UK – 020 8746 4290

The Central Bar is everything you would expect from a Wetherspoons pub. Decent food at decent prices. Reasonably priced drinks and no music. The pub does get very busy in the early evening as pre cinema crowds converge to dine, so if you aren't early enough it can be difficult to find a table. Essential if you want to eat. Overall if the company you are with is good then this pub will be good.

A pretty average wetherspoons. Went to order breakfast once at 12:10 and was told I was too late, I couldn't order porridge or even toast now. Another time I ordered a vegetarian all day breakfast which isn't on their menu, but is on the app. The server said 'yeah we can do it but we don't advertise it' when I asked why. They then brought out a non-vegetarian one - but did remake it when I said with no hassle. The interior of the place is standard, but clean, and the toilets pretty small and not too clean. Overall a good place but not great

The Pembroke

261 Old Brompton Rd, Earls Court, London SW5 9JA, UK – 020 7373 8337

The Pembroke is my local and I love it. I go twice a week. The atmosphere is relaxing and friendly and the staff are lovely. The food is consistently delicious. Usually I order the sea bass or market fish and it is to die for. But their burgers are lush too. They are also dog friendly which is a huge bonus - some staff members have gone and got a bowl of water for the dog without being asked. Loads of loos and a garden too. What more could you ask for?? Fabulous pub. I couldn't recommend it enough. Get down there and if you see me, I'll have a glass of fizz thanks.

Absolutely fantastic pub. Staff are amazingly helpful. Really enjoyed my Guinness
